Voting closes February 22 at http://www.networkcomputingawards.co.uk/

Ipswitch, Inc.’s network management division, the developer of the WhatsUp Gold suite of innovative network management solutions, today announced it has been nominated in four categories for the 2010 Network Computing Awards: Editor’s Choice; Network Management Product of the Year; Software Product of the Year; and Testing and Monitoring Product of the Year.

The Network Computing Awards were launched in 2007 to recognise the companies, the products and the services that have most impressed the readers of the UK’s longest established computer networking publication. In 2008 and 2009, WhatsUp Gold was runner up in the Network Management Product of the Year. Readers can cast their votes at www.networkcomputing.co.uk through February 22nd. Awards will be presented on March 4th at a black tie event at Guoman Tower Hotel in London.

“We are ecstatic to be recognised by Network Computing in four categories for the 2010 Network Computing Awards,” said Kevin Gillis, Vice President of Product Management for Ipswitch’s Network Management division. “The past year was a record-setting year for the company, not just in sales and profitability, but also for new product introductions and the entrance into core IT operations sectors like change and configuration management and performance and traffic management. Our constant contact with network managers worldwide and product growth through organic efforts and acquisitions made 2009 a banner year for Ipswitch’s network management division and these nominations for the Network Computing Awards validate our product strategy.”
