Ipswitch, the leading developer of network management, messaging and file transfer solutions, today announced that Universal Pictorial Press & Agency (UPPA) is now using Ipswitch WS_FTP Server to manage its extensive image database.
UPPA is the main trading division of Photoshot Holdings, which runs a photographic archive library, housing over three and a half million images, with a particular interest in entertainment, politics, the law, royalty, business, music and sport. A major part of UPPA’s service is to provide a daily supply of news pictures to UK national newspapers.
