In December, MCC International was tasked by Kaspersky Lab to invite a group of the most influential journalists in the UK IT security sector and accompany them to Moscow to participate in its annual global press tour.
During this three-day event that took place in the luxurious surrounding of The Marriott Grand Hotel, in the heart of the Russian capital and only a stones throw from the Kremlin and Red Square, the Kaspersky Lab UK PR team was delighted to be joined by representatives of Computer Weekly, Future Intelligence, PC Plus, Information Age, Bloor Research and The Guardian.
Press from to Australia to Mexico (and all points in between) were treated as VIPs with a full programme of educational seminars to participate in and unrestricted access to the senior management team at Kaspersky Lab, including the CEO and co-founder, Eugene Kaspersky himself.
Visits to the Kaspersky Lab head-office, a tour of Moscow including a rare opportunity for tourists to visit and dine inside Stalin’s private bunker on the outskirts of the city, were amongst the many highlights of the event, as well as a gala dinner at the Ermak restaurant for a sample of traditional Georgian cuisine and entertainment. The horseradish vodka making a cold Moscow evening one that all will remember for some time!
