Chloride, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and services, today announced that colocation and managed hosting specialist Node4 has installed Chloride’s 80-NET 200kVA UPS units within its new Wakefield DC3 data centre, in order to ensure maximum uptime and support for all its clients’ hosted applications.
Founded in 2004, Node4 focuses on providing leading hosting, colocation and communications services. By investing in core technologies, Node4 has been able to provide state-of-the-art solutions to organisations including: Ennstone Thistle Ltd, VW Parkway, Watford Football Club and Townscape Products. The new Wakefield data centre provides a total capacity of 450 racks, capable of supporting the multiple applications required to run a modern 21st century business. The new data centre is scheduled to open in Spring 2009.
