...University Of Paisley First To Use Web To Educate Live From Winter Olympics...

WiredRed, the leader in enterprise-scale real-time communication software, today announced that Dr Andy Miah of the University of Paisley is using its e/pop web-conferencing software to deliver lectures from the Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.

Dr Miah of the University’s School of Media, Language and Music is currently at the Winter Olympics undertaking research on the media and cultural aspects of the Games. Via means of e/pop, around 20 third year University of Paisley Media students undertaking the ‘Sport and Spectacle‘ module will receive their lecture from Dr Miah live from the Winter Olympic Games in Turin.
