Chloride Provides Continuity Of Emergency Service

London Fire Brigade deploys Chloride’s 80-NET UPS systems to achieve continuity of services

Chloride, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and services, and Ilford-based electrical contractors, Lovelock & Taylour, today announced that London Fire Brigade has deployed two Chloride 80-NET UPS units in its fallback centre, based in Stratford.

The 80-NET UPS system from Chloride draws 20% less input current than a standard UPS system. Using an 80-NET system reduces the switchgear ratings and subsequent cable sizes required, minimising generator ratings whilst maximising the usable power from the power supply.
