Exosect, a leading technology provider of environmentally conscious insect pest control, today announced the results of a recent trial of its innovative pheromone based mating disruption system, Exosex GBM, in vineyards in the Republic of Macedonia to control the European Grape Berry Moth pest (Lobesia botrana). This pest affects grape wine production all over the world, with 3 million acres of crops destroyed by grape pests annually, the equivalent of 1.3 billion gallons of wine.
