Extreme Networks today announces that it will be implementing the IT network at Bolton College’s new £70 million state-of-the-art campus. The network will introduce and host range of new services including Voice over IP (VoIP), IPTV and CCTV. The implementation will be completed in partnership with Extreme Networks’ partner, Pennine Telecom in time for the opening of the new campus in September 2010.
Bolton College is one of the largest providers of vocational training and further education in North West England. The new Deane Road building will be the home of the College IT network and it will also span six further sites located throughout the town including its three libraries, classrooms and student areas.
