Press release: Xenos Unveils Document Storage Reduction Solution for Enterprise Content Management
This afternoon Xenos (www.xenos.com.europe) announced the launch of its Document Storage Reduction (DSR) solution. Xenos DSR enables businesses to reduce their data storage requirements by as much as 90%. Given that large enterprises typically spend 70% of their annual IT budget on data storage costs, the savings can be significant – potentially providing an alternative to staffing or service reductions.
Following are some key points to note:
- Xenos DSR reduces physical storage requirements for archiving high volumes of content-rich documents sent to customers (e.g. monthly statements, bills, etc).
- Monthly storage requirements can reach several terabytes for an enterprise
- Cost of storage can be £18/$25 per gigabyte or more
