Chloride Launches Smallest Ever High-End UPS

Chloride’s new 60-NET MPR is the only UPS of its size and class flexible enough to provide high-end power protection

Chloride, one of Europe’s leading suppliers of
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and services, today announced the launch of its new 60-NET, a UPS designed to provide between 10 to 20 kVA of back-up power. The 60-NET offers high-end double conversion technology, previously available only to larger data centres, and with a footprint of just 0.27m2, it is suitable for even the smallest of IT facilities.

“The 60-NET is the only UPS of its size and class flexible enough to meet any power redundancy, harmonic control and battery backup time requirements,” said Chloride’s Technical Support Manager, Rob Tanzer. “Up to eight units can be set up in parallel to protect growing critical loads, whilst 60-NET is unique in its ability to supply uninterrupted power to any leading or lagging load power factor within its nominal rating. This means that the unit could support any future type of load - that may have some unknown electrical characteristic – without the user paying a price in terms of decreased efficiency or the need to buy additional equipment.”
