eema, the Independent European e-Identity & Security Association, today announced Microsoft will use its annual conference to present for the first time in Europe its technology for data minimisation in electronic identity. Principal Architect in Microsoft's Identity & Access Group, Stefan Brands, and Chief Privacy Advisor at Microsoft EMEA’s Technology Office, Caspar Bowden, will host the Advanced Privacy Techniques for Data Minimisation workshop on 10th June. Brands will also deliver an opening keynote to delegates at the conference outlining the issues of the technology.
