Pavilion Technologies, a world leader in model-based software, today announced that Monarch Cement Company has chosen Pavilion’s Pyroprocessing Control Solution to optimise two kiln lines at its Humboldt, Kansas plant. Monarch will deploy the Model-Predictive Control (MPC)-based application to improve operating stability, enhance product quality, reduce specific energy costs and minimise NOx emissions. Monarch is the fifth cement manufacturer in six months to deploy Pavilion's Cement Solution.
